Peregrine Orchestra, alongside some fantastic soloists, perform a programme full of joy, mystery, and emotion.
Two works form the centrepiece of the programme – Vaughan Williams’s Five Mystical Songs (Orlando Barton Hodges – Baritone), and Francis Poulenc’s dramatic Organ Concerto (Richard Pinel – Organ). These two works are complimented by music from the same two countries: gorgeous flute music by Poulenc and Debussy (Becca Stanton – Flute; Daniel Collins – Piano), and Peter Warlock’s dance-filled Capriol Suite. -
